1. What is GolfersMatch?
GolfersMatch is an internet based system, which enables you to find your most suitable playing partners, anywhere in the world.
GolfersMatch will introduce you to new golfing partners around the world, based predominantly upon your official Handicap, but allowing you to stipulate other criteria OF YOUR CHOICE, such as: Username, city, country or handicap.
2. Is there a maximum or minimum age limit?
No. In fact we expect that GolfersMatch will stimulate golfers
of all ages to play more often and with more people on more courses.
3. Can women join GolfersMatch ?
Of course. Ladies golf is one of the fastest growing sports in
the World and GolfersMatch is keen to encourage women golfers to play
wherever and whenever they want.
4. How much does it cost?
GolfersMatch annual membership is $13.99.
5. Do I have to join GolfersMatch as a member to use the
matching service?
Yes, but as membership is only $13.99 it's to your
advantage to register and join us.
6. How many times can I use this service, is there a limit
of introductions per year for example?
Not at all. You can use the service as many times as you like
but bear in mind that some golf clubs limit the number of times
a member can introduce guests or a particular individual.
7. Do I need a handicap?
Although not essential to have one to become a member of
GolfersMatch, it is to your advantage to obtain a handicap as
many clubs require to see one before allowing you to play on their course.
It is also an important criteria of GolfersMatch as it enables us more
accurately to match players of similar ability with each other.
8. Can I get a handicap if I don't belong to a golf club?
The International Golfers Club has a system which enables you to get
a handicap card even if you don't belong to an ordinary golf club.

9. Is my online information secure?
Yes. GolfersMatch places a high value on the integrity and
security of the information you provide. No one, including other
GolfersMatch members, can find out any more than you want them to know.
Your email address is 100% secure and is not accessible to others.
10. Will my information be given to third parties?
Absolutely not! The information is used solely for the purpose of allowing
GolfersMatch members to contact each other.

11. How long does my membership last?
As long as you like.
However if at any time you wish to cancel your membership
just login to your Worldpay account and cancel the golfersmatch subscription
from there.
12. Can I contact members for stuff other than golf?
The GolfersMatch scheme is specifically designed for golfers to arrange
matches and we would ask members to respect this. However, when you're
out on the course you'll be able to find out lots of information about
the local restaurants, places to stay, other fine golf courses etc.
from your golfing partner or partners.
13. What if I want to find a member I know is in the
GolfersMatch community?
Sign in to GolfersMatch, click on 'search for matching golf partner' and
in the 'search a member' page fill in your friends' Golfersmatch member
username and hit the find button.
You'll find them as because all GolfersMatch usernames are unique.
14. What happens if I don't like the matches
that GolfersMatch finds for me?
If you search again with slightly different criteria
you will get a new set of matches.
15. What if I hit someone with a golf ball?
It is a rare occurrence but most people have had a 'near miss' on the
course, so it is advisable to have a personal golf accident insurance
if only for that incredible 'hole in one' that could cost you a fortune
in the bar or lose you your amateur status.
GolfersMatch are not responsible for any consequences of a game
arranged through our service, not even for a hole in one.

16. Will I be allowed in the Club house?
There are still a few clubs in the World that do not allow
ladies in the clubhouse and there are age limits in the licensed
areas of many clubhouses for young players. It would be best if you
checked on any restrictions before accepting an invitation to play.
17. What if I want to cancel my membership?
If at any time you wish to cancel your membership
just login to your Worldpay account and cancel the golfersmatch subscription from there.
18. Is it possible to add a link to GolfersMatch from another website? Can I become an afilliate?
Yes. It's possible and easy to add a link to GolfersMatch from your website. All the better if it's a golf related site.
Just login and go to Update your personal details. There you will be able to get an affiliate banner and find information on linking to us.
19. What if I find something wrong on the GolfersMatch web site?
With the amount of information on our site and the changes that are
occurring in the world of golf it is possible that some of our information
may not be completely up to date.

20. What happens if I forget my login information?
On the login page, use the "Lost password?"
section and submit your e-mail address or Username.

Technical Difficulties
1. What if I encounter technical problems using GolfersMatch?
Please use the "Contact Us" link on any GolfersMatch page and
mail us your problem. If your technical difficulties are such that you
can't use your computer or login to the Internet, please contact your ISP.
We can only assist you with technical difficulties related specifically
to GolfersMatch.
2. What if I find a broken link on the GolfersMatch site?
We conduct extensive usability and functionality testing of the
GolfersMatch site as well as using automated Internet tools to verify
all our links. However,it is possible there may be isolated incidents
of broken links. Please use the "Contact Us" link on any Golfersmatch
page to report any broken links. Please include the URL of the page you
were on and the page you were trying to link to.
